Together with Champions for Choice Lisa Leslie and Deion Sanders, the American Federation for Children launched a national PSA campaign to highlight the growing number of athletes and celebrities supportive of educational choice.

I was honored to join folks in Birmingham, Alabama to celebrate National School Choice Week. With thousands of events happening across the country, Alabama hosted an important lunch event where I had the chance to speak.

For the third year in a row we hosted the Champions for Choice in Education pre-ESPYs event in Los Angeles. We teamed up with Lisa Leslie, Jalen Rose, Lou Gosset, Laila Ali, Stephen A. Smith and others to spend an evening focused on the kids.

Washington, D.C. School CHoice Week

With more than 200 in attendance we celebrated National School Choice Week in Washington, D.C. with a celebration at one of the cities finest charter schools. I was joined by House Majority Leader Eric Cantor and Champion for Choice Lisa Leslie.

Alabama Education Reformers Event

Alabama surprised all of us in 2013 by passing an unexpected school choice bill. I was honored to partner with AFC and the Alabama Policy Institute to honor two of the outstanding legislators who made this reform possible.
